Edge of Reason - New Decorative Dresser by Christina - TS2
Hey guys! Just a little gift from me. A new decorative dresser!
So a little information about the dresser. I'm a total noob, relatively, when it comes to making things. So, that being said, I measured the dresser to a base-game dresser for height purposes BUT then when it came down to actually packaging this dresser, I was forced to clone a table rather than a dresser BECAUSE I didn't make a drawer for the dresser (you know, for when it opens in game?) Anyway, so there's a little set back in that when you place things on the dresser, they are the height of the table. So, I noticed that objects can easily be placed on the dresser with Mystic Rain's PB OMSP. I included it in the .rar for convenience. It's solid red and found in misc surfaces where most OMSPs go.
In case you're wondering about terms-of-use (which I don't have written out in particular for meshes), you may recolor any of my meshes and you may include meshes with your recolors. However, please, please link back to me so people can find my site. thanks!
Oh! And 9 new recolors of Mystic Rain's Earthliving Cushion!

Is this a new header and a new layout? I really like it and I can't remember seeing it before :) Btw - the dresser is really really cute. It's too bad that it is (only) decorative. But never mind, it's just me who loves to see the decoration work in game. I'll download the dresser anyway :)

Yeah it's new! Put it together last night. The layout is by Ashley (@ http://bluebonfires.net/ ) and it was a gift for Christmas :D Sorry to disappoint you :| I'm a noob to creating anything outside to decor realm. When I do get better at meshing, though, I'll be sure to make this and future dressers functional :) Glad you like it!

I am having trouble with the file name as 'sim' instead of '.package' or 'SIM2PAC'. I know this must be a silly question but I have looked every were and I'm a bit of a noob at this downloading thing. do you know how to deal with this? ps. I know how to unzip and use most packeged stuff but the 'sim' ones just don't seem to work..could it be because they are meshed? please help... thanks :)

Are you downloading for TS2 or TS3?
.Sims2packs and .Sims3packs are installed with the game's software. For example, The Sims 3 uses the Launcher.
However, for The Sims 2, majority of users prefer the Clean Installer. http://sims2pack.modthesims2.com/
This installer can only be used on .Sims2packs and NOTHING else. I use it to install SIMS and LOTS.
